How to add text to the photo collage?
You can either add new text directly or by copying an existing text.
To directly add text to your collage:
- Unlock text at the top of the application if currently locked.
- Go to the Text tab on the top left side of the application.
- Press the New button.
- Type in the text and change text position, font, color, opacity, shadows etc.
To add text by copying existing text:
- Unlock text at the top of the application if currently locked.
- Select the text to copy by clicking it in collage.
- Press the Make Copy button in the Text tab on the left side of the application.
- Type in the text and change text position, font, color, opacity, shadows etc.
How to delete text from the photo collage?
To delete text from your collage:
- Unlock text at the top of the application if currently locked.
- Click the text to select it.
- Press the Delete button in the Text tab on the left side of the application.
How to edit existing text?
To edit existing text:
- Unlock text at the top of the application if currently locked.
- Click the text to select it.
- Type in the text and change text position, font, color, shadows etc.
How to select a font for text?
To select a font for the text:
- Unlock text at the top of the application if currently locked.
- Click the text to select it.
- Select a font from the Font section.
How to change the font size of a text?
To change font size:
- Unlock text at the top of the application if currently locked.
- Click the text to select it.
- Change font size in the Font section on the left.
How to re-position text in the collage?
To re-position text:
- Unlock text at the top of the application if currently locked.
- Click and drag the text to change its position.
How to change the text opacity?
To change text opacity:
- Unlock text at the top of the application if currently locked.
- Click the text to select it.
- Choose text opacity in the Font section.
How to stroke and/or fill text?
To stroke and/or fill text:
- Unlock text at the top of the application if currently locked.
- Click the text to select it.
- Select Stroke Only, Fill Only or Stroke and Fill in the Stroke and Fill section.
- Select stroke color and fill color in the Stroke and Fill section.
How to set a text background?
Sometimes text might not be visible in front of the background pictures. You can use a partially or wholly opaque text background in such a scenario.
To use a text background:
- Unlock text at the top of the application if currently locked.
- Click the text to select it.
- Change the text background opacity from the Text Background section.
- Change the text background color from the Text Background section.
How to add shadows to text in your collage?
Shadows give a real paper collage feel to your collage. Shadows generally have three components - the X and Y offset that specify the location of the light source and blur that determines the distance of the light source.
To add shadows to the text:
- Unlock text at the top of the application if currently locked.
- Click the text to select it.
- Check Draw Text Shadows.
- Adjust the X Offset, Y Offset, and Blur sliders.
How to rotate text?
To rotate text:
- Unlock text at the top of the application if currently locked.
- Click the text to select it.
- Rotate text using the controls in the Rotation section on the left.
